As former Director of Biomathematics and Statistics Scotland, I enjoyed professional interactions with RBGE over many years. Following retirement in 2018 I have channelled my energies into botany (as a BSBI recorder for Kincardineshire and North Aberdeenshire, also as a member of BSBI Committee for Scotland of which I am Chair from 2022-2026), and am delighted to continue my interactions with RBGE in a different context.
