Centrally located in Edinburgh, ‘The Botanics’ as we are affectionately known, offers a variety of wedding locations, each surrounded by botanical splendour and stunning natural backdrops. Weddings can be booked all year round, with each season offering a different ambiance within the Garden to cherish and remember.  We offer ceremony only, ceremony followed by dining and evening reception, or for evening reception only.

From an outdoor ceremony in the John Muir Grove amongst the giant redwoods, lunch in the David Douglas Room, or dinner and evening reception in the Caledonian Hall overlooking the Rock Garden, our grounds offer a variety of options to create your perfect day.

All of our venues are wheelchair accessible, can accommodate from 10 – 200 guests and are suitable for Civil or Humanist ceremonies.
