  • Located in the John Hope Gateway visitor centre, the Gateway Cafe offers seasonal dishes made with fresh, garden-grown ingredients. Open daily 10am - 4pm

• Terrace Café

  • The Terrace offers a relaxing spot to enjoy handmade pastries, soups, sandwiches, and desserts fresh from our ovens.

• East Gate Coffee Bar

  • Located at the Inverleith Row entrance, this casual spot offers speciality coffees, beverages and delicious home baking.

• Conifer Corner

  • Enjoy a warming crumble or fresh waffles. Located on Conifer Walk, near the Willow Pond.

  The bright and airy Gateway Café offers an idyllic spot in which to enjoy sumptuous seasonal dishes, prepared on-site with ingredients handpicked from our Kitchen Garden and freshly prepared, daily, by our culinary team.

  • The Gateway Coffee Cart, our ground-floor pop-up is open Saturday and Sunday 10am - 3pm

  In the heart of the Garden, overlooking Inverleith House Lawn and the Edinburgh skyline, the Terrace is a perfect place to relax and unwind.

  Handmade pastries, soup and sandwiches, savoury bites and tempting desserts are served fresh from our ovens throughout the day.

  Indulge in a delightful Cream Tea experience at The Terrace Café, infused with the flavours of botanicals, herbs, and edible flowers carefully harvested from our Kitchen Garden.

• The East Gate Coffee Bar

  Located at the Inverleith Row entrance, the East Gate Coffee Bar offers a warm welcome with a selection of speciality coffees, teas, Scottish soft drinks and delicious home baking. Enjoy your selection on picnic benches or take it with you as you explore the Garden.

  • Saturday - Sunday: 10am–3pm

• Conifer Corner

  Serving freshly made waffles, hot berry crumble, artisan coffees and teas, Conifer Corner brings a cosy, comforting treat to one of the Garden’s most scenic routes. Located along Conifer Walk, near the Willow Pond.
