Garden View Deck & Bar

The Garden's opening hours are 10am - 5pm daily. From 5pm, guests will be able to view the Garden's lush summertime splendour from the deck, but access into the Garden will be closed. Entering and exiting the Deck & Bar will only be via the West Gate Entrance.

The Garden View Deck & Bar operates as a walk-in service only at this time. No reservations are available. 

The Garden View Deck & Bar is part of the John Hope Gateway. Access to indoor seating as part of the Gateway Cafe will be available during wet weather.

The Garden View Deck & Bar is free entry, no ticketing is required. 

Yes, the Garden View Deck & Bar is open 12pm - 8pm Friday and Saturday, and guests can arrive any time to enjoy the experience. However, from 5pm access is only via the West Gate Entrance. 

Yes, guests who have been in the Botanics during the daytime are able to stay on the John Hope Gateway deck as it transforms into the Garden View Deck & Bar. 

The Garden View Deck & Bar will be operating 12pm-8pm (last orders 7:30pm) Friday and Saturday, and 12pm-5pm (last orders 4:30pm) Sunday from Friday 8 May until September. 

Yes, children are welcome at the Garden View Deck & Bar during all operating hours.

Members are invited to enjoy complimentary gordal olives at the Garden View Deck & Bar every Friday and Saturday evening, from 5–8pm. Simply show your valid membership card to a member of the team to redeem the offer.
