Jane Robertson, Learning Technology Manager
Jane and the rest of the Learning Technology team work with tutors and other staff in the Biodiversity Education and Training department to deliver online courses via our own online learning environment, PropaGate Learning. This gives many more people the flexibility to learn with us here at the Garden at a time that suits them wherever they live.
Jane made the move away from retail management into the realm of learning technologies in 2006 gaining an MSc in Multimedia and Interactive Systems. Jane then worked at Jewel & Esk College in Edinburgh in the Learning Resources team, subsequently bringing her experience and skills to The Royal Botanic Garden in Edinburgh in 2014 where she has been developing and improving the online offer ever since.
Jane is passionate about delivering a high quality engaging online learning experience that gives options to people who wish to learn in a more flexible way.
