Join us to celebrate the launch of Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh’s lavish new Dorling Kindersley book Atlas of Botany with two of the authors, Drs Zoë Goodwin and Gregory Kenicer.
Delve into the fascinating and seemingly ingenious ways plants adapt to the environment around them with a tour of some particularly special species. We’ll look at how plants have evolved to cope with extreme environments, competition and living with humans. Weather permitting, we’ll have a chance to see some of the special collections in the glasshouses. A copy of the Atlas of Botany is included, with an opportunity to have it signed by Zoë and Greg.
