Step into the Botanics’ green pharmacy
Founded as a physic garden in 1670, the Botanics’ history is rooted in the growth, study and use of herbs for medicinal purposes.
This year, we celebrate 20 years of our contemporary herbology course and the enduring healing and cultural power of plants. This exhibition focuses on a selection of medicinal plants, remedy-making methods and recipes, giving a glimpse into our Garden's green pharmacy.
At this free event, one of our amazing volunteers will share with you their knowledge on and enthusiasm for Herbology, focusing on their favourite aspect of the exhibition.
This talk will be held in the exhibition space in the John Hope Gateway.
