Making a Legacy Pledge to Royal Botanic Gardens

If you do decide to leave a gift to the Gardens, you are under no obligation to tell us, but by letting us know, we can keep you updated on our work across all four sites as we continue to protect, celebrate and nurture the extraordinary diversity of plants and fungi.

Your Pledge
Select your legacy

  • There are 3 types of legacy:

  • 1. A pecuniary legacy specifies an exact sum of money (e.g. £1000).

  • 2. A residual legacy is what is left of your estate after all of the bequests, taxes and debts have been paid. You can give the entire residual amount or a share of it – anywhere from 1% to 100% - to RBGE

  • 3. A specific legacy relates to a particular item such as stocks, shares or property.
