Laura Cohen, Undergraduate Programmes Manager
Laura worked as a Horticulture Technician here at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh (RBGE) before getting more involved in teaching, including on the HN BSc course, the RBGE Certificate in Practical Horticulture (CPH) and the RHS Level 2 and 3 courses at RBGE. Laura has delivered horticulture training in the UK and abroad.
Laura works closely with colleagues at Scotland’s Rural University Colleges (SRUC) to ensure the wellbeing of our students and that the HN BSc Horticulture (Plantsmanship) course runs smoothly. With higher education going through a time of rapid change, they work together to respond and enhance the course, to keep it practical, relevant, and engaging, and to equip students for work and further study.
