In the Eddy of the Stream

A collaboration with the Cooking Sections and Sakiya collectives. 2 July to 18 September, 2022.

In the Eddy of the Stream encompasses new works and themes from the artists’ practice, featuring sculpture, installation and audio.

Connecting tree cores in the Cairngorms and forbidden plants in Palestine, In the Eddy of the Stream is part of the Climate House programme at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh. The exhibition draws attention to the breakdown of ecosystems through the removal of plants and ensuing long-term harm to people, communities and other species.

In the Eddy of the Stream will inform ongoing debates around rewilding and the historical impact of land clearances alongside exploring contemporary commoning strategies.
