Talk – Why Silent Space Matters
Thursday 2 May, 2pm
Courtyard Gallery
Why is taking time to be quiet in nature helpful for us and how can it help our relationship with the natural world?
This talk is presented by Liz Ware, founder of the registered charity Silent Space. She is a garden writer, historian, and photographer. Liz developed the concept of Silent Space over many years, culminating in a successful pilot in 2016. There are now over 70 gardens running a silent space in the UK.
Followed by tea and coffee.
Garden admission applies to non-members.

Silent Space at Benmore Botanic Garden
We are delighted to have two perfect spaces where we invite you to take a quiet moment.
The first is situated in the Golden Gates Arboretum among many giant conifers. The second space is a secluded spot among a hillside of rhododendrons with beautiful views across the garden. Enjoy a peaceful moment in green places...
