Dr Will Goodall-Copestake, Barcoding Network Manager and Communications Lead
I work on the Biodiversity Genomics Europe project, providing support for network and governance development, communications and dissemination. I have further roles in the secretariat for the Scottish DNA Hub and as Events Officer for the Systematics Association.
Prior to my current job at RBGE, I held positions as a Lecturer in Biological Oceanography at the Scottish Association for Marine Science (SAMS) and as a Population Geneticist at the British Antarctic Survey (BAS), where I specialised in the characterisation of Antarctic and South Atlantic biodiversity using DNA-based methods, including research on fungi, plants and soils (see selected publications below).
