Running Wild – Support George at Logan
-
Visit Logan Botanic Garden to meet George as he arrives in the Garden. Show him your support as he plants a magnificent Acer davidii (snakebark maple) and cheer him on as he sets off to Dawyck!
George Sherriffs is running an epic 356 miles in just eight days. Beginning his journey at Benmore Botanic Garden on April 22nd, he will run through Logan Botanic Garden on April 26th, Dawyck Botanic Garden on April 29th and cross the finish line in the Edinburgh Garden on April 30th.
George is running to raise awareness and promote the work being done to save the world's habitats, the conservation work taking place at our Gardens, as well as the work we do to combat biodiversity loss and the climate crisis.
We hope people across Scotland will support George by donating, cheering him on at our four Gardens or running alongside him for a mile or ten. Come along to Logan Botanic Garden to support George as he sets off to Dawyck!
