Stitch in Time
Our throwaway culture provides us with interesting materials with which to be creative. In this workshop, Fiona Hutchison will use traditional textile techniques to explore the creative potential of some of the most commonly found plastics in our oceans, plastic bags and food wrappers.
A creative reminder that materials are precious, with a focus on marine plastics. This workshop coincides with RBGE exhibition Think Plastic: Materials and Making currently on tour to Taigh Chearsabhagh Museum & Arts Centre in Uist.
There is a limited capacity for this event therefore you will need to book a free ticket for this event online
