Plant Families of the World
This 10-week course will feature a different group or family of plants each week focusing on some of the key characteristics used to identify them, including flowers, fruits and vegetative characters as well as the variety that exists within each group. Our expert RBGE science and horticulture staff will showcase the plants they work with every day covering: conifers, gingers, orchids, begonias and many more, while highlighting their importance in our collections and the research we do as we endeavour to ‘Explore, Conserve and Explain the World of Plants for a Better Future’.
