Early Warning Signs
Reduce, reuse, recycle your art.
This summer marks the ten-year anniversary of Ellie Harrison's 'life-long' project Early Warning Signs, and the first opportunity to see the artwork reunited. Originally made for the 2 Degrees Festival, each year four venues are invited to host individual 'CLIMATE/CHANGE' signs, which are activated by the wind, animating an increasingly urgent message. Spot three spinning signs across the Garden before they join the final sign in Glasgow for COP26, the 26th UN Climate Change Conference of Parties.
The signs are located in front of Inverleith House, near Inverleith House pond and beside the Botanic Cottage.
