Mrs Alison Murison (1951)
I was brought up near the Botanics in Warriston Crescent. We were often taken there by one or other of the mothers. I'm afraid we played hide and seek in the Rock Garden. One time, I was taken by someone else's nannie and there was an Edinburgh Evening News photographer beside the snowdrops north of the pond. He took my picture which appeared in the paper. Notice my last year's camel coat and brown beret.
