Parallel session: Curation and Cultivation in the 21st century
Have you ever wondered what curation is and its role in public gardens? This session, running parallel to the tours and workshops, offers a mix of talks and lively discussion around the value of curation, how it impacts on cultivation and management and how it can promote excellence in horticulture.
We will discuss new tools and technologies that can assist in the curation of public gardens, including plant records and enhancing the visitor experience. A panel Q&A session with contributors will look at the needs of public gardens and their teams, identifying technology and its uses to improve the curation of gardens in the 21st century.
