Glasshouse Treasures
-
The Edinburgh Biomes project will see the Glasshouses at RBGE restored and expanded. To show why these buildings are such a crucial part of the Garden’s work we asked Terry Huang, former student at the Garden, to make a series of short videos featuring some remarkable plants.
As well as enhancing the public glasshouses Edinburgh Biomes will replace ageing research Glasshouses and create a new plant health suite providing services and expertise for the whole of Scotland. These proposals will provide facilities that will enable RBGE to continue expanding its research, conservation and education programmes.
