8 February Virtual Coffee Morning: Keep on Stitching
Stitching Botanical, a volunteer stitching collective at the National Botanic Garden of Wales, started meeting in 2014, as a temporary arrangement to engage with visitors for the duration of the Patchwork Meadow exhibition, a Wildflower Europe project organised by the charity PlantLife. Their remit was to explain some stitches and encourage visitors to embroider a wildflower ……Eight years later, at least twenty projects and millions of stitches - they are still going!
