Members' coffee morning & talk: Hedges for multiple urban environmental benefits
Tijana works for the University of Reading and the Royal Horticultural Society. Her talk will cover what we currently know about multiple environmental benefits provided by hedges (cooling, storm water management, air pollution reduction, noise reduction etc). Drawing on her practical research, she will discuss the mechanisms that make some species more effective than others.
