Talking Science at Our Gardens

"Exploring the science of trees and gardens throughout Scotland"

The Talking science project aims to create a dialogue between scientist and adult audiences throughout Scotland. It’s focusing on groups of individuals who in the past may have felt excluded from mainstream science engagement in the past. The theme the science of trees and gardens has been selected for its relevance to people with a diversity of interest, age, education and backgrounds. The talking science project has gained support and commitment from leading scientist from six of Scotland’s Government, private, and university research centres who have committed to engage with diverse audiences on subjects such as genetics, phenology, cell biology and environmental issues.
