Come and enjoy a guided tour to see the emerging foliage and floral displays from plants such as Magnolia, Rhododendrons and spring bulbs, amongst many more.

1st April - 31st May - Scottish Rhododendron Festival

Enjoy a fabulous stroll around Scotland's Most Exotic Garden and see the rare and fragrant collection of magnificent Rhododendrons which thrive in the sub-tropical paradise of Logan.

11th April 2017 10.30am-12pm - Guided Walk: Full Speed Ahead!

Enjoy a tour around the Garden and discover the carpets of Trilliums, exotic Rhododendrons and Peat Walls in all their glory.

20th April 2017 Members' AGM & Vietnam Talk 2pm

Meet the membership team and find out what exciting plans are on the horizon at Logan Botanic Garden. Followed by an exciting, illustrated talk on Vietnam by Curator, Richard Baines.

1st May 2017 - 2pm - Mull of Galloway Talk: Scotland's southernmost point.

Find out more about the RSPB and the Mull of Galloway at this exciting talk at Logan Botanic Garden. The Mull is home to thousands of nesting birds and bustles with wildlife so is one of the UK's best spots for witnessing visible migration.

9th May 2017 10.30am-12pm - Guided Walk: The magic of spring

Come along and enjoy an amazing tour around the Garden to see the stunning seasonal displays of floral delights including Primulas, Maddenia Rhododendrons, Paeonias and Meconopsis.

25th May 2017 10am-3.30pm - Port Logan Beach Clean

Join the RSPB and Logan Botanic Garden staff on a beach clean at Port Logan. Help to clear up the beach and prevent rubbish from damaging our marine wildlife.

31st May 2017 - 2pm - Wildflower Walk at The Mull of Galloway

Enjoy a guided walk around The Mull of Galloway seeing Wildflowers in full bloom and learning more about their ecology and importance to our native wildlife.

3rd June 2017- Scottish Opera

Enjoy a fantastic afternoon with the Scottish Opera Touring Bus at Logan who will perform opera tasters, especially for children.

21st May 10am-5pm Scotland's Gardens Open Day

Enjoy Scotland's Most Exotic Garden as part of Scotland's Gardens open day with a percentage of entry fees going to charitable causes.

13th June 2017 10.30am-12pm - Guided Walk: Never Ending Colour!

Enjoy a splendid walk around the Garden. See summer sensations blooming in Scotland's Most Exotic Garden kick starting the summer flowering season.

11th July 2017 10.30am-12pm - Guided Walk: The Magic of Summer

Come and enjoy a guided tour and see the vibrant colours and textures of the half-hardy perennials that sparkle and lighten up the Garden in a floral firework display. Salvia, Osteopermum, Penstemon and Fuchsia are now in their element.

13th July 2017 - 2-4pm - Create a Self-watering Plant Pot

Start the summer holidays having funby  making a self watering plant pot to keep and take home and have hours of fun in your garden.

18th July 2017 - 2-3.30pm Pond Dipping

Explore an underwater world with the RSPB and discover what creepy crawlies may be lurking beneath the surface. Fun & Adventure guaranteed!

20th July 2017 - 2-4pm - Fun with Flax

Come along with your friends and make some exciting creations with flax-a snake, a flower or something from your own imagination!

25th July 2017 - 2-3.30pm - Bugs & Beasties

Join RSPB staff and make a bug box for your garden to encourage bugs, bees and beasties to live there.

27th July 2017 - 2-4pm - Animal Masks

Come along choose your beast to colour in and wear as you explore the antipodean woodland of Logan and meet other 'wild animals' along the way. Then take home and have hours of fun scaring your friends and family!

29th July 2017 - 5.30-7.30pm Jazz Night

Come along and enjoy a wonderful evening of Jazz in the magical setting of the Walled Garden with Mike Daly's Rhythm Kings. Tickets available at Logan Shop. £10/Members £5/Groups of 4 £30. 01776-860231

1st August 2017 2-3.30pm Build a Bird Feeder

During the spring and summer many little birds fledge from their nests and are looking for food. Make your own bird feeder with the RSPB and encourage birds into your garden

3rd August 2017 - 2-4pm - Create a Sun Catcher

Convert an unwanted CD into a sun catcher! Hang in your bedroom window to create glittering patterns in your room as the sun shines off its surface.

8th August 2017 - 10.30am-12pm - Guided Walk: The Height of Summer

Come and see the Garden before the summer flowers start to fade. See the stunning displays of waterlilies, exotic cannas and dazzling dieramas.

8th August 2017 - 2-3.30pm - Pond Dipping

Explore an underwater world with the RSPB and discover what creepy crawlies may be lurking beneath the surface. Join RSPB staff for fun and adventure.

10th August 2017 - 2-4pm - Create a Dragonfly Mobile

Come along and tie and twist pipe cleaners together to create a dragonfly mobile to hang in your bedroom or give to a friend.

15th August 2017 - 2-3.30pm - Bugs & Beasties

Give nature a home this summer with the RSPB. Make a bug box for your garden and encourage bugs, bees and beasties to live there.

12th September 2017 - 10.30am-12pm - Guided Walk: The Tail End of Summer

Enjoy an early autumnal tour around the Garden and see the early autumnal joys on offer. See the lovely Agapanthus, Eucryphia & Fascicularia.

10th October 2017 - 10.30am-12pm - Guided Walk: Early Autumn Shades

Enjoy an autumn tour around the garden and see the many grasses, Salvias and Dahlias and autumn flowering bulbs. An ideal time to ask all those gardening questions that have always puzzled you!

19th October 2017 - 1-3pm - Dream up your own Dreamcatcher!

Weave your very own mobile dreamcatcher to hang in your room and catch your sweet dreams!

26th October 2017 - 1-3pm - Rocky Friend

Come along and create your very own 'rock' buddy to place on your desk or bedroom and have hours of fun with your new pal!
