Botanical Artistry: Bees at the Botanics - Ali McLeod

Over five weeks we will use miniature paintbrushes and watercolour to create an exquisitely detailed illustration of a bee and flowers from RBGE, whilst learning about the essential role these insects play in all our gardens.

With help from the volunteers of Dumfries and Galloway’s Bat Group, come along and make your own bat box to take away and place in your garden; as well as joining in with other batty activities.

Create a Dragon Fly mobile

Come along and find out how to convert some canes, pipe cleaners, beads, fishing line and plastic sheet into a dragonfly mobile. When complete, take them home to hang in your bedroom.
