First Sunday Fun

Why not drop in to Dawyck on the first Sunday of every month and have some free fun making a souvenir of your visit? Spend a short time on a different activity each visit - including leaf rubbing, making a nest, or printing with materials from the Garden.

My work is inspired by trees, their forms, their history and the influence that humans, animals and natural processes have in shaping them: in the way they provide a solid representation of time. It explores their three dimensional forms, investigating the way light hits their surfaces, revealing corporeal contours and chaotic patterns of damage.

A collection of close to 40 seaweed specimens that reveal the extraordinary range, beauty and diversity of seaweeds that grow in the rock pools and kelp beds along the shores of East Lothian, from Gullane to Seacliff.
