This year marks the 150th anniversary of the Redwood Avenue; why not enjoy the history, plants and seasonal highlights of Benmore by joining a guided tour. Walking tours take place on a Tuesday & Sunday and the Explorer runs on a Wednesday & Thursday.

Tracing the journeys of a teak bed found in a Singapore junk store back to where the original tree may have grown. Using photography, woodprint collage and animation Jalan Jati connects natural histories, arboreal influences and DNA tracking technology.

Benmore Botanic Garden is pleased to welcome Edinburgh and Tayside based artist Anne Gilchrist to the Courtyard Gallery. Anne shall be exhibiting paintings inspired by the landscape and flora of Ben Lawers.

Rarely exhibited glass sculptures, documentation of Rory McEwen's ‘sculptural environment’ The Tweed Road (1969) at the Richard Demarco Gallery in Edinburgh's Melville Crescent and McEwen's 1970 film of his close friend Joseph Beuys (1921-1986) on Rannoch Moor.
