Come along and enjoy a tour around the garden with the curator and see summer sensations blooming in Scotland’s Most Exotic Garden. Along the tour you will see displays from Lantern Trees, Chilean Firethorn trees and South American Lobelias.

BioBlitz: Midsummer Eve

BioBlitz: Midsummer Eve

Join the challenge to record as much wildlife as possible over a 24 hour period in the Garden. Bioblitz begins at 6pm and will see naturalists working with the public to discover the urban wildlife that calls the Botanics home.

Wonderful Wildflowers

Join Phil Lusby for an illustrated guide to native wildflowers. The day includes a hands-on workshop to teach you some basic skills, plus a field trip for a chance to put them into practice.

Join the challenge to record as much wildlife as possible over a 24 hour period in the Garden. Meet naturalists, learn about the wildlife of the Botanics and help with the recording effort. Every species counts!

Solstice Yoga Sunday

A yoga session of about an hour, taking part outside in the gardens, weather permitting. If the weather is unsuitable, the yoga will take place in the Visitors' Centre. Yoga is followed by breakfast provided by the resident cafe.

With everything in full swing in the garden in summer, there are a host of jobs to do – find out how to keep your flowering plants looking their best and avoid a tired looking garden in the height of summer.

Digital Plant Photography II

A one-day advanced course, suitable for those who have attended Digital Plant Photography I or who have experience of using a high-end digital camera. The course will look at how to use the features of these cameras to get the best quality photographs.
