First Sunday Fun

Why not drop in to Dawyck on the first Sunday of every month and have some free fun making a souvenir of your visit? Spend a short time on a different activity each visit - including leaf rubbing, making a nest, or printing with materials from the Garden.

My work is inspired by trees, their forms, their history and the influence that humans, animals and natural processes have in shaping them: in the way they provide a solid representation of time. It explores their three dimensional forms, investigating the way light hits their surfaces, revealing corporeal contours and chaotic patterns of damage.

Bring your cameras, lenses and tripods to take part in this photographic workshop with Sandy Welsh at Dawyck Botanic Garden.

Summer Solstice Yoga

A yoga session of about an hour, taking part outside in the gardens, weather permitting. If the weather is unsuitable, the yoga will take place in the Visitors' Centre. Yoga is followed by breakfast provided by the resident cafe.
