Evolutionary Plant Tour

Join Logan's very own Neanderthal and take a tour round the garden looking at what plant came when in history; as well as finding out a few facts about what makes a plant tick.

Garden Tour

Come along and enjoy a tour with the curator and ask questions as you go around viewing the late summer floral displays. Some of the plants you will see on your tour include Watsonias, Galtonias, Dieramas and exotic Fuchsias.

Make a Bird Feeder

Drop-in to the Yurt and construct your own bird feeder to take away and hang in your garden or window so you can watch our feathered friends stuff themselves silly for the coming autumn-winter.

Make a Wind Chime

Create your own wind chime using the shells from locally caught scallops to hang in the garden, or window, in this drop-in-event. Some adult supervision/assistance will be needed if the children are very young as they will need to use a small craft drill.

Logan Plant Fair

Logan hosts a plant fair of Dumfries and Galloway’s finest gardens and nurseries. A great opportunity to purchase unusual plants that are rarely available to the public. Why not make a day of it and make a combined visit to the Garden and Plant Fair!

Botanics 360 Exhibition

An outdoor exhibition featuring the 4 gardens of the Royal Botanic Garden, Edinburgh from a different angle. Come along to be inspired!

Remarkable Trees
