Logan AGM & talk

Prepare to be whisked away to the sunshine of Gran Canaria. The talk by Richard Baines, Logan's curator, will provide an insight into the native flora, conservation projects and possible new introductions to Logan resulting from the trip.

Come along and enjoy a tour around the garden in the company of a member of the horticultural team. See the seasonal displays of late spring / early summer floral delights such as Primulas, Maddenii Rhododendrons and Paeonias.

Scotland's Garden Scheme Open Day

The Garden is open to support Scotland’s Garden Scheme Charities. The Garden reaches its early summer climax with a canvas of colours ranging from exotic Rhododendrons, spectacular Paeonias and Meconopsis to name but a few.

Garden Tour

Come along and enjoy a tour around the garden with the curator and see summer sensations blooming in Scotland’s Most Exotic Garden. Along the tour you will see displays from Lantern Trees, Chilean Firethorn trees and South American Lobelias.

GardenTour

Come along and enjoy a tour in the company of the curator. See the vibrant colours and textures of the half-hardy perennials that sparkle and lighten up the garden in a floral display. Plants like Salvia, Argyranthemum, Osteospermum and Penstemon.

Rock Art

Come along to a drop-in session and create your very own “rock” bug or animal to keep you company or paint a masterpiece on your very own piece of Galloway to take away and keep for yourself or give away as a present to a loved one.

Make a wind chime

Create your own wind chime using the shells from locally caught scallops to hang in the garden or window in this drop-in-event. Some adult supervision/assistance will be needed if the children are very young as they will need to use a small craft drill.

Jazz on a Summer's night

Enjoy an relaxing evening of Jazz with friends provided in the stunning setting of the Walled Garden. Why not bring along a picnic? Tickets should be reserved in advance on 01776 860231 or at the garden’s shop.
