Visit the Edible Gardening Project polytunnel, fruit area and vegetable plots for advice and inspiration. Free tours available at 12 noon, limited spaces so arrive early to avoid disappointment. Meet at visitor reception in the John Hope Gateway.

Coffee Morning and Garden Walk: Carniverous Plants at RBGE

These unusual plants, including some Scottish natives, take much of their nutrition from insects and often grow where nutrition is scarce. Meet David Tricker who looks after RBGE's collection and see the specimens in both public and research glasshouses.

Four years into the official Scottish Beaver Trial, come along and find out how the beavers are adapting to life in Scotland, and how Scotland is adapting to life with the beavers! The Scottish Beaver Trail education team will be here with beaver-y games and activities as well as pelts, skulls and video footage.
