A rare opportunity to hear Japanese group Novaia Liustra perform two new sound works ‘Netori’ and ‘Homage to Leonin: Organum Alleluia Pascha Nostrum’.

Novaia Liustra, which means ‘new chandelier’ in Russian is an on-going collaboration between Japanese musicologist Masayuki Yasuhara and visual artist Yoshihisa Nakano. Yasuhara and Nakano use a range of activities to explore, challenge and move beyond the boundaries of visual art and music. In Edinburgh the duo are joined by Masahide Tokunaga.

Organised by Nozomi (www.nozomi.org.uk), Edinburgh College of Art. Supported by the Japan Foundation.
