The Pianodrome is a playable 100-seater amphitheater built entirely from over 50 disused pianos. Gracing the Pyrus Lawn throughout August, visitors are invited to play in, on and around this world-first interactive installation. With five playable pianos embedded inside and covered by a geodesic dome, the Pianodrome is a space like no other. During the month of August the space will become an active community arts venue with spontaneous performances, community choirs, sneak previews of fringe shows, workshops and much more.
