New species discovery is a vital component of RBGE's conservation work. In order to be able to protect something you first need to know what it is and where to find it.

In this exhibition you are invited to explore the world of the plant hunters and learn how RBGE botanists have been exploring the wilds of Asia and the Americas and RBGE's own research collections to discover new species of Begonia.
