The Gaoligong Shan is a remote mountainous area on the China/Burma border. Geographic and political isolation have protected the land from degradation, but also restricted scientific exploration. RBGE is involved in an international project to collect and document the plants and animals of this fascinating area. David Long and Mark Watson will share their stories from the ten expeditions to the region that have been undertaken to date.

With Dr David Long and Dr Mark Watson, RBGE.
