The RBGE will be celebrating our place in the heart of the Commonwealth with events at all our Gardens and at Glasgow Botanic Garden over the summer. The events are timed to coincide with the Queen’s Baton Relay as this moves around the country in advance of the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.

As part of our midsummer events Maori artist and tradition-bearer Veranoa Hetet will demonstrate traditional weaving using natural fibres drawn from the New Zealand flora.
