Winter identification of deciduous trees relies on things like the shape, colour, position and arrangement of buds. This one-day workshop is designed for complete beginners and will equip you with the skills to identify trees throughout the year. The course fee includes the cost of a copy of the Field Studies Council publication: A Guide to the Identification of Deciduous and Broad-leaved Trees and Shrubs in Winter. Taught by Max Coleman.
