Join scientists and artists for an exclusive evening event in
the John Hope Gateway celebrating the connection between
culture and nature - both internationally and here in Scotland.
The programme includes live music from Scottish singer
Mairi Campbell and Colombian band Khantara and an exclusive
after hours visit to the Garden's contemporary art gallery,
Inverleith House, to see the new Corin Sworn exhibition.
There will be hands-on making sessions with a focus on
Colombian beads, Colombian chocolate and Scottish herbal
remedies. You will also have the chance to create artworks
with Tansy Lee Moir and Sarah Simblet whose tree drawings
feature in the Gateway's new Sylva exhibition.
The Gateway Restaurant will host a special Botanics Late Bar
and serve a range of delicious refreshments.
