Nature and conservation photographer Barney Wilczak takes us through his photo documentary of the pioneering work carried out by the Ecological Restoration Alliance of Botanic Gardens to restore ecosystems that seemed to have disappeared for good through commercial utilization.

The projects include the 'English Meadow' at Clattinger farm, a jewel of the Cotswolds, and ERA Australia with the restoration of silica and iron ore mining landscapes, lead by King's Botanic Gardens, Perth.
