Throughout July, as part of the Walking with Poets project (http://www.walkingwithpoets.com/), run by the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh in partnership with the Scottish Poetry Library, Mandy Haggith took visitors on a poetic journey through the 18 letters of the Gaelic Tree Alphabet, celebrating each the native tree or shrub associated with the letters.

Mandy is returning to the Garden as it enters winter to talk about her experiences and how the time that she spent in the RBGE Library helped her to appreciate not only the poetry, but also the evolution, of our native trees.

This talk is free but you are advised to book a place online as numbers will be limited.

There will be a library tour from 2pm to 3pm which you would also be welcome to book separately: book a place here
