Drop in to the Botanics' Oak Lawn to meet our poet-in-residence Mandy Haggith and enjoy some al fresco tree folklore snippets and poetic workplay.

For a total of 18 days in July, Mandy will be following the Gaelic Tree Alphabet and celebrating a tree each day with visitors to the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh and visitors to www.walkingwithpoets.com. Saturday's tree will be Oak and Sunday's tree will be Holly.

Part of the Walking With Poets project in collaboration with the Scottish Poetry Library. This project has been made possible thanks to Year of Natural Scotland funding from Creative Scotland, and additional support from the Big Give and Cove Park.
