Join Expedition Botanics and experience the adventure of 21st century plant-hunting in Malaysia. From packing for your expedition to identifying your finds, experts will be on hand throughout the Glasshouses and Garden to guide you and help you learn new skills. Supported by Tourism Malaysia.

Acclimatise to the heat and humidity and enjoy the hospitality of our Malaysian Village before the real work begins.
Use clues left by the advance party to track down the mystery Malaysian plant.
Collect your own seed samples and press your plant specimen to preserve it for scientists of the future.
What's that Plant?
Compare your own specimen to some reference samples to see if you can identify it.
Get your fingers into some compost and pot up seeds to start your own botanical collection at home.
Expedition lunchboxes will be available to purchase from the Terrace Cafe and you can pick up great tools and identification guides at the Botanics Shop to help you continue your expeditions in your own garden or on a walk.
