Instruments made from Nature’s rich resources have been used for millenia to harness the healing power of sound. These include drums, Himalayan bowls, gongs, rainsticks, shakers and more recently tuning forks and crystal bowls.

We will consider how you might interpret these sounds directly in a painting through the use of shapes and colours and more generally explore the effects such sounds can have on the mind, emotions, and as inspiration for artistic creativity. The intention is also to encourage awareness of the sounds around us as a potential to be fed into the inspirational artistic mix. Taught by Helen Harris and Mitcie Hood.
