Cabinet Secretary for the Environment, Climate Change & Land Reform, Roseanna Cunningham, has confirmed the reappointments of Thomas Meagher and Diana Murray as Trustees of the Board of the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh.

Sir Muir Russell KCB FRSE, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, comments: 

"The Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh is delighted to announce that Prof Thomas Meagher and Ms Diana Murray have been reappointed to its Board of Trustees.  It is most important that our Board benefits from a broad range of Trustees’ skills to enable RBGE to continue as a world leading centre for plant research, conservation and education and as a top visitor attraction.  Prof Meagher and Mrs Murray’s reappointments and their expertise provides the RBGE with welcome continuity and will contribute significantly to maintaining good governance and to the future success of the organisation."
