Carol lives & works in a beautiful rural location near Biggar. She studied Sculpture at Edinburgh College of Art & then took her Masters Degree in Painting at the Royal College of Art, London. This exhibition is a series of limited edition giclee prints that have been made from combinations of close up & microscopic photography of dried flower specimens.

Carol explains - 'I aim to create an image of beauty that will represent the fragility of life. The papery quality of the dried plant specimens symbolises the delicate balance of our existence. I want to draw attention to the responsibility that we have as humans, to take care of this delicate balance, so that we will stop creating situations of extinction'.
