China has a very rich flora containing almost 30,000 species of higher plants - a staggering 12% of the world's plant biodiversity.

In the spring of 2012, RBGE in collaboration with Kumming Institute of Botany, undertook a 3 week collecting expedition to Yunnan Province.

David Gray, Senior Horticulturist at Benmore, will present an illustrated talk detailing his experiences in this outstanding area for plant exploration.  Followed by afternoon tea.
