Dialogues of Wind and Bamboo is a two part installation: an external sculpture and an interactive sound installation. Three Pieces, the interactive sound installation, is a collaboration between robots, living plants and traditional Chinese musical instrument, set within the Temperate Palm House.

Natural Progression is a bamboo sculpture made from 600 pieces of black bamboo on the Lower Birch Lawn to create a stage setting for dance and musical performances during the live promenade performance of Dialogues of Wind and Bamboo on 21 June.

Supported by the Scottish Arts Council and the Dunard Foundation. An iMAP production. For more information, please visit the Wind and Bamboo blog at www.imapimap.com/windandbamboo or listen to the Wind and Bamboo podcasts. You can also view a video clip of the Three Pieces installation in the Temperate Palmhouse.
