A chance to explore and study colours in nature and use this knowledge to inspire colour schemes with a ‘wow’ factor. We will investigate using colours in our homes to create any chosen atmosphere, be it fun, sophisticated, traditional, contemporary, etc.

Centres of Flowers - Pamela Richardson

The aim of this short course is to help our understanding of flowers and their centres. We will be investigating seasonal flowers through accurate observational drawing and colour matching.

Nepalese Ethnobotany and Lokta paper making workshop

This workshop will include an illustrated talk on Nepalese ethnobotany followed by Lokta paper making workshop and also a look at the the shrub Daphne which grows in the garden at RBGE. Taught by Dr Bhaskar Adhikari and Sunil Sharma.

This course introduces traditional Chinese woodblock printing including its characteristics, history and procedures. Students will learn the whole process of this traditional printing method and create their own prints. Taught by Suzanne Chong.
