Edible Gardening

Go to our blog for edible gardening tips and project news.

The project aims to help people grow their own vegetables and fruit by offering advice on how to get started. Funded by the People's Postcode Trust, the grant giving independent charitable trust of People's Postcode Lottery and run in partnership with the Scottish Allotments and Gardens Society.

Come along to our drop-in sessions to learn about vegetable varieties, sowing seeds, composting, pruning, harvesting, storing and preparing your produce, and more:

  • Visit the Edible Garden Mondays 1pm -3pm free drop in session in the demonstration garden. Observe the edible gardening team at work and get advice about growing your own edible garden. Perfect for beginners.
  • Edible Gardening - Seasonal Advice Tuesdays 1pm -3pm free edible gardening drop in session in the John Hope Gateway. Please note there are no Tuesday sessions in December and January.
