Cast your vote for the nation's favourite plants or trees

The Year of Natural Scotland is well underway and, as part of a year of exciting projects, Scottish Natural Heritage (SNH) is undertaking a poll to identify Scotland’s favourite wildlife species. Inspired by SNH’s campaign, RBGE is championing biodiversity and has launched the search for Scotland’s favourite native plants and trees. We’re asking you, the public, to vote for your favourite native species to reveal the nation’s most popular plants and trees.

RBGE’s scientists and horticultural experts will be revealing their favourite but we want to hear from you to build up a real picture of the Scottish plants and trees that we all hold dear. Our nominated list of popular plants and trees will no doubt be a contentious issue and you may have a different opinion, so please cast your vote in the ‘other’ box if you have a different ‘favourite’ plant from those listed.
