The Garden is open daily
(except 25 December and 1 January).
Opening hours:
November & February: 10.00am - 4.00pm
March & October: 10.00am - 6.00pm
April to September: 10.00am - 7.00pm
Glasshouses close:
November to February: 3.30pm
March to October: 5.00pm
Admission
Admission to the Garden is free.
Charges apply to the Glasshouses:
Adults £3.50, Concessions £3, Children £1, Families (2 adults and up to 4 children) £8.
Friends enjoy free admission to the Glasshouses.
Eating
The Terrace Café serves delicious hot and cold food daily and, when the sun shines, the tables spill out onto the terrace where visitors can enjoy an alfresco lunch with an unrivalled view of the city skyline.
The Terrace Café opens at 10am daily and closes at the following times:
November to February: 3.30pm
March & October: 5.30pm
April to September: 6.30pm

New Table Service Restaurant - The Caledonian Cafe
Nestled beside the Rock Garden and waterfalls, the Caledonian Cafe, a table service restaurant, is a great place to relax after a walk around the Garden.

Shopping
The Botanics Shop offers a fantastic shopping experience.
Choose from a wide selection of gifts, stationery, books, souvenirs, confectionery, seeds, bulbs and gardening products.
You will also find a large outdoor plant sales centre with a carefully chosen range of plants, including some more unusual varieties for those of you looking for something a bit different.
All profits from the Botanics Shop are used directly to support the work of the Garden.

Access
All buildings and major areas of the Garden are accessible to all visitors. Wheelchairs are available for loan at the Garden entrances and a self-driven electric cart is available by prior appointment. Please contact the Garden Rangers via the enquiry form (select ‘Garden Rangers').
Photography
You can take photographs and videos in the Garden for personal use. All filming and photography for commercial use or the use of tripods is by permit only. Details of any requests for filming or photography should be discussed with the Press & Marketing Office.
Regulations
Please note that no dogs except guide dogs are permitted within the Garden. No bicycles or footballs are also allowed within the Garden.
